The Denver Justice Project is looking to fill three positions for our Board of Directors
(“the Board”). We are seeking diverse community leaders who want to actualize our vision for liberated communities of color. The Board meets every first Thursday and the commitment is for two years. Primary responsibilities include:
- Expanding the Denver Justice Project’s reach and visibility in the community
- Deciding key policy decisions the Denver Justice Project should pursue
- Recruiting community members to advocate on policy initiatives
- Assisting in fundraising efforts and professional development
We will prioritize people with:
- Lived experience involving the criminal justice system
- Background in law and policy
- Background in fundraising/development
