FREEDOM FOR JEANETTE VIZGUERRA

TAKE ACTION: FREE JEANETTE VIZGUERRA

Stand with a Freedom Fighter. Demand Her Release.

Jeanette Vizguerra—beloved community leader, mother, immigrant rights activist, and longtime Denver resident—has been unjustly detained at the GEO Immigration Detention Center in Aurora since February. Her detention is not just an isolated incident. It is a clear, targeted act of retaliation against a woman who has spent decades organizing, resisting, and protecting others from the violence of deportation.

Jeanette is not just another name in the system—she is one of the most recognized voices for immigrant justice in the country. She has stood up for families, fought back against unjust policies, and lived in sanctuary for over 600 days to avoid deportation and separation from her children. She has made national headlines, inspired thousands, and helped transform Colorado into a stronghold of grassroots resistance. Now, she needs us.

Her recent detention is part of a broader pattern—a pattern that connects the machinery of mass incarceration to mass deportation, and uses private prisons like GEO to profit from the criminalization of Black and Brown people. Jeanette’s voice is powerful, and that’s exactly why she was targeted. This is a politically motivated attempt to silence her and to punish her for daring to speak truth to power.

But we won’t let them.

Here’s how you can help:

📍 Show up: Join community members every Monday outside the GEO facility in Aurora, demanding her release and calling attention to the cruel and unjust immigration detention system.

💸 Donate: Contribute to Jeanette’s Legal Defense Fund to support the fight for her freedom and cover mounting legal expenses.

📢 Share: Help amplify her story. Talk to your networks. Post on social media. Educate your communities. Let them know that Jeanette is still fighting—and she’s not alone.

🖊️ Pressure officials: Call on ICE, DHS, and elected officials to demand Jeanette’s immediate release. Public pressure works. We’ve seen it before, and we will see it again.

Jeanette has stood for many. It’s time many stand for Jeanette.

Help us protect a mother, a leader, and a fierce defender of dignity and justice. The fight for Jeanette is the fight for all of us.
