On Tuesday May 9th, the Denver Justice Project hosted our 2nd Annual DJP Fundraiser at Novel Strand Brewing Company in downtown Denver. Dinner was provided and Novel Strand donated $1 from every beer poured between 6pm-8pm. Our Co-Directors Alex Landau and Gianina Horton as well as our Board President Jeff Campbell, talked about our mission, our current priorities as an organization and our growth over the last year. We were pleasantly surprised by the great turnout and ending up raising $2,500 to support our ongoing work in Denver, Aurora and Commerce City. We are looking forward to summer and participating in local events that allow us to outreach our communities and continue to grow our network and expand our reach as a non-profit committed to radically transforming the criminal legal system. We want to send a big thank you for everyone who came out and to those who donated.
