DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY
Demand elected officials hold law enforcement accountable for abuse of power and properly compensate victims of police violence.
COMMUNITY OVERSIGHT
Support community oversight of police and push for community input regarding transforming and reimagining public safety.
DECRIMINALIZING SOCIAL ISSUES
Expand community partnerships for intersectional collaborations that address housing, behavioral health, mental health, transportation and immigration.
EXPAND RESTORATIVE & TRANSFORMATIVE JUSTICE PRACTICES
Expand our Restorative and Transformative Justice Practices in the Adams 14 School District.
ADDRESSING MENTAL HEALTH & TRAUMA
Analyze data from our Aurora Ward 1 Traumatic Brain Injury survey to compile a report for advocacy and expand the survey to other communities.
COLLABORATIVE EDUCATION
Expand our community workshops including Know Your Rights, District Attorney 101, and Substance & Harm Reduction Training.
POLICY ADVOCACY
Build a robust advocacy team that reflects our communities and works to eradicate punitive policies and practices while advocating for community-based alternatives.
