POLICY & COMMUNITY ADVOCACY
DJP’s advocacy is rooted in community-driven organizing. We work alongside individuals and families who have been, or are at-risk of being, impacted by the criminal legal system who are navigating this landscape with the goal to achieve justice.
COLLABORATIVE EDUCATION
By bringing together individuals, organizations, and experts, we create a space for collective learning, empowerment, and advocacy for a fair and just society.
DIRECT ACTION
Denver Justice Project is deeply committed to confronting and dismantling the systems and institutions that have perpetuated discrimination against poor people and people of color, resulting in mass incarceration, poverty, mental health issues and collective trauma.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Denver Justice Project is dedicated to addressing community trauma stemming from systemic issues such as racism, over-policing, poverty, exclusion and other forms of cultural and institutional violence. Through our mental health and safety work, DJP aims to identify and acknowledge the impact of these injustices on affected community members.
