Direct Action & Grassroots Organizing
Denver Justice Project is deeply committed to confronting and dismantling the systems and institutions that have perpetuated discrimination against poor people and people of color, resulting in mass incarceration, poverty, mental health issues and collective trauma. Through direct action, DJP supports individuals impacted by racist systems of oppression by providing advocacy, resources, and solidarity. By leveraging direct action strategies, DJP aims to challenge power structures, disrupt the status quo, and advance a vision of justice that centers the needs and experiences of marginalized communities.
