The Denver Justice Project and the Denver Task Force to Reimagine Policing and Public Safety hosted a candidate forum for the two people running for Denver City Auditor. Tim O’Brien, current incumbent, and Erick Clark have answered a number of questions related to the Auditor’s role as part of the accountability infrastructure of Denver. 

The questions ranged from their vision of public safety, their take on the homelessness sweeps, and their commitment to look at the environmental disaster of Sun Corp. in the Swansea and Globeville area.

The Auditor’s role is to provide transparent, independent reviews and recommendations of internal audit services and prevailing wage and minimum wage enforcement.
